Strengths of a Certificate Program

1. A significant interdisciplinary effort on the part of nine CUA schools;
2. A rich offering of interdisciplinary courses for CUA graduate students;
3. A program that is likely to attract a variety of graduate students (both national and
    international)
    to dialogue about the important themes of international social development;
4. Implements the university’s mission to promote peace and justice and foster respect for the
    human person wherever they may live;
5. Likely to attract funding from outside sources.
